Introduction:
Ekansh Services is a website that provides solar services in the USA and other countries. The website aims to educate and inform customers about solar energy solutions, showcase the services offered, and facilitate customer inquiries and service bookings. As the WordPress developer for this project, my role was to design, develop, and deploy the website, ensuring it meets the client’s requirements and provides an excellent user experience.
Technologies Used:
To build the Ekansh Services website, I used the following technologies:
WordPress:
The core platform for creating and managing the website’s content.
Figma:
For designing the website’s layout and user interface before development.
Adobe Photoshop:
For creating and editing images and graphics used on the site.
Features:
The Ekansh Services website includes several key features:
- Responsive Design: The website is optimized for viewing on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Service Pages: Detailed information about various solar services provided, including installation, maintenance, and consultation.
- Contact Form: A user-friendly contact form for visitors to request more information or schedule services.
- Blog Section: Regular updates and articles about solar energy, industry news, and company updates.
- SEO Optimization: Implemented to ensure the website ranks well on search engines, attracting more visitors.
Problems and Solutions:
During the development of the Ekansh Services website, I faced a few challenges:
- Design Consistency: Ensuring a consistent design across different pages was challenging. To overcome this, I created a comprehensive style guide in Figma, which helped maintain uniformity in fonts, colors, and layouts.
- Performance Optimization: The initial load time of the website was slow. I addressed this by optimizing images using Adobe Photoshop and implementing caching plugins in WordPress to improve speed.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Some design elements did not render correctly on all browsers. I conducted thorough testing across multiple browsers and used custom CSS to fix compatibility issues.
Conclusion:
Developing the Ekansh Services website was a rewarding experience. By utilizing WordPress, Figma, and Adobe Photoshop, I created a responsive and user-friendly website that meets the client’s needs and enhances their online presence. The challenges faced during the project were successfully addressed, resulting in a robust and efficient website that showcases the solar services offered by Ekansh Services.
